Foster homes play a great role in evaluating the temperament and personality of the dog. People who want to adopt the dogs have to complete an application and pay a donation fee ($200-$300,) which partially covers the expenses on food, caring and training. Every applicant receives a home visit to evaluate his/her living conditions and home atmosphere.
